How we work

We source dated figures to USDA Food and Nutrition Service publications, identify the fiscal year, and state when local policy can change an estimate. Our calculator’s simplified method is published openly. Corrections can be requested through the contact page.

What we cannot do

We cannot access an individual SNAP case, submit an application, promise approval, or interpret every local policy. Contact your state agency for an official decision.
